Join our incredible adventure to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where you’ll explore an 8,000-year-old lava tube, geothermal areas, seal colonies, and the breathtaking Kirkjufell Mountain—one of Iceland’s most photographed landmarks. Follow in the footsteps of Jules Verne, Walter Mitty, and other explorers as you discover Iceland’s diverse and stunning landscapes. Your journey begins in Reykjavik, where your guide will pick you up for an unforgettable West Iceland adventure. On the first day, you’ll explore the wonders of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, including the famous Kirkjufell, the charming Arnarstapi fishing village, and black church of Búðir. After a day of sightseeing, you’ll spend the night in either Stykkishólmur or Borgarnes, depending on hotel availability. On the second day, you’ll venture into the Víðgelmir lava cave, one of Iceland’s largest lava tubes, before visiting the stunning Hraunfossar and Barnafossar waterfalls, along with other scenic stops.
