Overview
This tour is designed specifically to experience the 2026 solar eclipse from one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Westfjords. Rather than simply watching from town, we travel high above the fjords to Bolafjall, where the open horizon over the Arctic Ocean creates an unforgettable setting as the sky darkens during the eclipse. Guests enjoy light catering while watching this rare celestial event from a remote cliffside viewpoint, followed by a visit to the historic Ósvör maritime outpost on the return to Ísafjörður.
